Outlined below is a brief description of every stage of your journey to the UK with Glo Recruitment.
Currently recruiting Senior Care Workers to come and work in the UK on a Skilled Worker Visa. The role is to provide care and support in the community for the elderly and vulnerable people diagnosed with learning difficulties and/or mental health challenges. The ideal candidate needs to be of a caring and compassionate nature.
Once you have cleared IELTS or OET with the required scores, Glo Recruitment will set up an interview for you through Skype, Zoom or a similar video platform with our clients in the U.K
You will need to complete an online self-assessment that will confirm if you are eligible to apply for Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. In the assessment, you need to prove that you meet health, good character, and English language requirements.
You need to take a CBT to assure the NMC that you have the right knowledge and skills to practice nursing in the UK. The CBT is made of 120 multiple-choice questions and the results will be available after 48 hours of taking the test. Glo Recruitment will provide you with training for the CBT exam and book slots for the exam.
You will need to submit various documents to Glo Recruitment, which will be sent to your employer on your behalf. These documents are proof that you can safely and legally work as a nurse in the UK. Some of these documents include:
You will be guided by our consultants to provide all the necessary documentation to your new employer in the UK.
Once you clear the CBT and all your documents are verified, the employer will issue a Certificate of Sponsorship. This is used to apply for Tier 2 visa. The COS is valid for 3 years after which it can be re-sponsored.
If you are coming to work as a nurse in the UK, you need to apply for Tier 2 Visa. Your visa will be generally approved within 3 weeks.
Glo Recruitment will arrange for a one-way flight ticket, airport pickup, temporary accommodation, and orientation. We provide you with ongoing support in every possible way.
The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is the second exam you need to attend to complete NMC registration. OSCE will assess your clinical knowledge and can only be completed in the UK.
A clinical environment and patient scenarios will be simulated to determine how you assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Once you complete the test, the results will be emailed within 5 working days.
Glo Recruitment will give you training for the OSCE exam and will book the slots for you.
Once you pass the OSCE, you will be registered with the NMC and you will receive your NMC Personal Identification Number (PIN). Once you receive your PIN you can start working as a registered nurse in the UK.
